Willson House is Closed
Willson House Closed
In November, 2020, the Willson House Board of Directors reluctantly reached the decision that we could no longer sustainably operate the Willson House Residential Care Facility. The facility closed its doors on December 31, 2020. On October 1, 2021, the building was sold to a new owner with the resources to renew the facility and return it to the service of the community under the management of Whitewood Gardens.
Whitewood Gardens is highly experienced in senior care, they are devoted to those they care for, the families and their staff. The new owners specialize in residents who are in need of significant care related to their activities of daily living. As the new owners, Whitewood Gardens is remodeling all aspects of The Wilson House and adding additional amenities, bringing the community into a new life. Tours will begin in late- January and residents will be able to start moving in mid-February. Please visit our website at www.whitewoodgardens.com . The communities tab will be showing Whitewood Gardens of Salem in late December.
