
During the meeting, residents sampled dishes that the chef would like to introduce to the new menus. These included mushroom, garlic and tortellini soups, shrimp with angel hair pasta and pesto sauce, warm chicken pasta salad, chocolate cake with a light and fluffy peanut butter frosting, as well as diabetic desserts of peach and cream cheese turnovers and filo pastry cups filled with home-made pudding.
The residents voted that all three soups should be added to the menu as well as the chocolate cake and filo pastry cups. Bon Appétit!
